The storm intensified through late afternoon. At 4:36 PM CDT, a spotter reported baseball-sized hail causing siding and roof damage. At 4:45 PM CDT, another trained observer measured stones up to 2.75 inches. A patrol car windshield was broken at 4:51 PM CDT. Radar also detected 2.75-inch hail at 4:40 PM CDT and 2.5-inch hail at 4:46 PM CDT.
